Please take note of the difficulty level assigned to each solo or ensemble using the Wisconsin system. Class A (level 4-5) presents a challenge suitable for high school musicians, Class B (level 3) offers a less demanding experience with easier technical requirements, and Class C (level 2-3) is generally tailored for middle school/junior high school students. The “Beginner Solo Series” is designed specifically for students in their first year of study. While Class B and C music may be easier to perform, their musicality is of high quality, and they should not be considered inferior based solely on ease of performance.
